I love my house--I have made no secret of my mad house-love. I live in a beautiful house that has some history and some quirks and is so friendly that people feel hugged when they walk in the front door. But I have to say that the house in "Practical Magic" makes me swoon HARD. The blogger at the very yummy Knitty, Vintage, and Rosy posted a few pictures of the house that are absolutely droolworthy. (It guts me a little to know that the house was built solely for the film and torn down when the production finished.) Victoria Magazine published a feature on the house when the movie was released--I loved it so much I still have the article tucked in a folder to sigh over.
Note: stayed up very late to watch the speeches last night. They were very moving and it was wonderful to see the excitement all over the world. I admit, I cried. No matter which way you voted, we all achieved something last night, and I hope everybody can appreciate history being made and move forward. And Passage d'Enfer might be the most delicious perfume I have ever worn, but it doesn't last quite long enough. That is my only complaint--other than that, it's perfection.
